The SSD application timeline

Collect current IEP or 504, psychoeducational evaluation (within 3–5 years), and school verification form.

Submit SSD application
Submit via College Board's SSD Online portal. School SSD coordinator must approve requests tied to a school plan.

7 weeks review
College Board review
College Board typically takes 7 weeks. Expedited review is NOT guaranteed — plan for the full window.

4–5 weeks out
Check status + register
Monitor SSD Online for approval. Register for the specific test date with accommodations once approved.

Test day
Confirm at test center
Arrive with accommodation letter. Confirm setup before starting. Report any issues immediately.
